For our standard translation service turnaround time, each translator can translate about 2000 to 4000 words per day with or without the help of CAT tools. Let's say the document contains 9000 words, we can deliver the document within 4 to 5 working days. The total period of time will include not only translation, but also proofing and checking for alignments, etc. For certificate translation with only one page, we would be able to deliver on the same or next day depending on the target language and complexity of the contents. Certified translations are required for various reasons. Most of the legal paperwork will require certified translation. For example court transcripts or evidences in another foreign have to be translated and certified before submission. Official documents like service agreements and birth or marriage certificates are required as well. All documents which are not in English or Bahasa Malaysia need to be translated first before submitting Malaysia government bodies. Documents for immigration purposes are almost always required to be translated. For example if you are applying for residency in a foreign country, it is highly likely that the embassy of that country will require all your documents to be translated into the country’s official language. In Malaysia, a certified translation is a document that has been translated by a certified translator recognised by Malaysia government. For translations of documents from English to Bahasa Malaysia or vice versa, you may also use the services of a court translator. A certified translation may not be available from an independent translator since the translation requires a seal from the Government Agencies or Court appointed translator to be made official. We will assist you to clarify the types of certifications you require before we provide you the certified translation. There are circumstances of which certified translation may not be sufficient for submission to officials. Additional steps such as public notarisation and endorsement may be required depending on which parties you are submitting to.

Transcription is the first step. From the original audio/video, our company will transcribe the spoken elements and create the captions with Timecode added. The Timecode aims to create a time reference for where the voice-over segment is to be inserted, or for where the subtitle or caption must appear. We can then translate the written Transcription for subtitles or voice-overs. The translation styles would be different as both subtitles and voice-overs require different styles for later editing purposes. The final step would be to subtitle the video or to re-voice the soundtrack in a foreign language.
